Key Point Blank features include:
List Management, Segmenting and Targeting*
Point Blank list features include wizard-style import/export of data, custom filtering, segmenting, and merging. Audience targeting based on list data is also available as part of delivery settings, and built-in deliverability and subscription data features automatically keep lists "clean" and accurate.
Asset Management Architecture
Instead of focusing on the email as the central unit of the marketing process, users can organize all necessary assets (including emails) as individual, abstract parts to be incorporated within an entire campaign strategy, with email employed as the delivery mechanism. Users can make use of a familiar file-management interface to create folders and manage asset locations, which provide them with a simplified view of all important campaign resources.
Content Design and Authoring
Familiar, word processing style interfaces allow users to control content at the visual or code level, while step-by-step wizards walk users through the creation of other assets such as images, media, and surveys. Content is designed on a tiered basis with templates, nested (embedded) content, and flexible placeholders--all controlled by user permissions.
Personalization
One-click access to list data during the content authoring process facilitates the integration of personal information directly and dynamically into email messaging.
Dynamic ("Smart") Content*
Logical rulesets dictate content selection in each individual email based on recipient data and other conditions. Rulesets support robust logical operators as well as grouping and ordering operations.
Response-driven Campaigns*
Monitored events such as user actions, timing, or outside software functions can control each list recipient's path through a decision-tree campaign structure. Using this conditional approach, campaigns can be constructed to support the life of a marketing strategy in an automated and intelligent fashion.
Subscription Management, Opt-in, and Forward to Friend Functionality*
Built-in, automated utilities provide users with a simple and flexible way to keep their lists up-to-date, compliant with anti-spam legislation, and growing. Email recipients have control over the nature of email communication they receive.
User, Permission, and Approval Management*
Accounts support multiple users, with individually-customized permission sets and optional approval management of system activities.
Surveys*
Simple-to-create yet powerful surveys, questionnaires, or polls can be used in email campaigns, with results rolled up into an integrated reporting interface.
Event Notification and API Integration*
Utilizing a robust API and automating event notifications to external systems can accomplish close-loop integration of data, events, and functionality. All data and features in Point Blank can be controlled remotely to create automated, event-driven response to purchases, data changes, or other transactions.
Conversion Tracking*
Code snippets generated by Point Blank can be integrated into 3rd-party web pages to track activity beyond the email, including a flexible set of variables such as purchase price, product ID, etc.
Technical Details
